AFTR  -  ACTION  COMMITTEE

MISSION  STATEMENT

“I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it any more!” (from the movie Network)

The goal of this Action Committee is to give our members easily achievable actions in order to protect public education and the rights and benefits of teachers.

IMPLEMENTATION  and  FOLLOW UP

The Committee will be asking for members’ help in making phone calls, emailing or writing letters to legislative representatives.   Since legislation seems to arise  without much notice, it is essential for all members to check the website (www.njaftretirees.org) frequently for all updates.

Phone calls can be effective. So, when the committee urges you to make phone calls, please act immediately.  When calling the appropriate legislative representative, please voice AFTR voting preferences.

By the same token, encourage everyone to do so.

COMMITTEE

If you wish to be part of the committee, please contact Viviane Levy at

(908) 232-1758 or  email her at  vlevy123@gmail.com
